Hi, and welcome to our download section. Here we will show you how to get your hands on fansubbed anime. I am in the process of writing guides for each method. Untill they are all done you are on your own, just download the programs discussed below and read the manual or help page it comes with. It's really not that hard, but help is on the way.

IRC (or Internet Relay Chat) has been around for ever. Finding files and getting them takes a little effort this way, but imho, it is by far the best way to find and get your files. You will be at the source of the fansubbers since most fansubs that release digital files (divx,mpeg,etc) distribute their files in a public room on IRC. All you have to do is join, chat and wait your turn to grab the newest releases.

Using Peer 2 Peer

P2P is probably the best known, and takes the least amount of effort to find your files. The bad part is that there is either no way to communicate with the people you are downloading from, or a simple messaging system will allow you to talk to the person, but there is no way to stay oin touch after either of you logs of, and comes back the next day. Anyway, its a proven way, and if all else fails, you can fire up your favorite P2P program and search/download away.

Grokster is probably the best p2p program to use. It uses the same methods as kazaa and morpheus, and even has a built in media player. The nice thing about grokster is that you can cap/limit the amount of people that download from you, or even shut it off complely. However, if you do not allow downloads, chances are that whomever you are dowloading from will terminate your download. Its a give and take community afterall.
